There must be a reason why dog’s are known as man’s best friends. Since domestication, dogs have become affectionate and compassionate friends of man. A dog owner will know that the pet will always be there…always ready to be of help to the human friends. Dogs are one of the most loved pets and dog owners make sure that the pet is not only provided with enough food but also with all the things that will make its life comfortable. Whatever care and affection a dog owner gives to the pet will be doubly reciprocated.

Time and again dogs would prove their affection and loyalty to the human friends. These animals are ready to deal with any discomfort just to be with their masters. Take for instance the dog’s tendency to sleep at the master’s feet. Dogs have a reputation of being good sleepers. If given a chance, dogs will sleep the day away. People that love to sleep would invest on big, soft and comfortable beds. Dogs would not really mind where they sleep. Dogs would ignore their comfortable beds if your feet is available to lie and to sleep on if it means being close to their favorite friends.

Dogs would constantly want to be with their human friends as apart from being affectionate, these pets form strong bonds with their owners. It is somehow fitting to give dogs the name Velcro pets given their inclination to stick close to their masters. Dogs would stand close to the master or even lean on the master’s leg and if there is a chance the dog would quietly sidle to sit on the master’s lap.

The master’s feet would not be a very comfortable place to sleep on. A dog though would be ready to have cricks in the neck as long as it can get close to the master. Dogs are protective and the habit is believed to be the dog’s way protecting the master. This habit can be the dogs way of recognizing the master as the leader of the pack. Dogs need to have well defined hierarchy. A dog that sleeps at the feet of the master is recognizing the leader of the pack.

Discounting the discomfort the dog owner will feel, this habit is not really dangerous for both the master and the pet. Dog owners love the pet thus it will be allowed to sleep undisturbed but what if the pet is a giant breed, which one would you choose – a sleeping dog or a sleeping and cramping feet?

Pet travel cages allow you to easily and safely transport your pet almost anywhere. The type of cage you pick will depend on the type of pet you need to transport. There are a lot of kinds of cages to pick from, however. If designer cages are your cup of tea, you can pick one of those from the hundreds of assorted styles and designs available. With a little searching, you are sure to find the right one for you and your pet.

If you have a medium or large dog, you are going to want a large crate. You could require assistance with the crate if you have a larger animal. The crate needs to be a size that allows your dog to sit down up, turn around, and stand easily. You also need to make quite sure you can fit dishes for food and water in the crate.

If you are traveling with a small dog, you may be able to use either a travel bag that stays with you or a small crate. Many airlines permit this. The travel bag you pick may look like a handbag, a front sling, or even a backpack carrier; all of these styles and designs have places for the dog’s head to come through.

It is generally required that cats be transported in a cat carrier. When traveling with a cat, these cages are the customary means of transporting them safely. Unlike dogs, cats will generally choose to remain laying down throughout their journey, so their carrier does not need to be as tall. There should be ample room for the cat to be comfortable in the carrier; however, it only has to have enough space for your cat to lie down without the top of the carrier touching his head.

Once you have made the decision as to which travel cage is best suited to the needs of you and your pet, you will be ready for your trip. With so a lot of options, there is no longer any reason for Fido or Fluffy to stay house while you take pleasure in traveling the world! With the protection and safety provided by your pet travel cage, you and your pet can now take pleasure in many brand new trips together.

After all, the best part of your pet is the joy you get in taking care of them and getting things for them. A travel carrier is necessary to properly secure your pet and maintain the animal comfortable during travel. Whether you are going on a quick shopping trip or taking a two week vacation, you want to have your pet with you to get pleasure from the experience as well. I mean they are an extension of the family – Are they not? My pet is certainly a part of mine!

Layla writes reviews about small dog cages and about the important aspects of dogs cages to keep your pet safe in the car.
