The endless cycle of pest control

One thing about owning a home is pests never seem to end. They all have varrying seasons but they take place right after each other. It seem like you have to combat pests all year round because of that.  But as a homeowner you can get ready and because of that you can minimize the problems they give you.

First of all in my San Diego pest control service I see this first hand that pests seem to never end. With one season you get one type of pests that always give us calls on.  Then the next season the calls drop off for that pest and another one comes. It is a season that never comes to an end.  But you can fight back.We will look at the two major pests and discuss how they follow after each other.

The first one that disturbs us annually are the ants.  In my San Diego ant control service the ant season is the summer months. My company receives a large number of calls at this time. The ants are at their busiest at this time. They are busy in storing food in preparation for the winter. So to minimize the problems with ants the best way is to not give them any water or food.So what you want to do is don’t leave food out and keep your home clean.

Rodents are the next bothersome pest to come along. As soon as the ants are gone here come the rodents to bother you.  These guys don’t come in during the summer because it is too hot to be in your house.  But what I have found in my San Diego rodent control service is that come winter they are looking for a place to hibernate.  The best thing to do is set up traps immediately. In your home you don’t want them to begin to increase in number. You can start killing them early by setting up traps early.
